CircleTalk Leader Course – Grand Junction
January 1, 2019
In early 2019, CircleTalk will be holding a leader training course in Grand Junction. Details on venue and date yet to come.
This is an enriching, interactive learning experience for all involved. You will experience CircleTalk simulations, share observations in small and large group discussions, and experience skill practice and coaching throughout the day. Because many participants possess the desire to learn the CircleTalk Method but may not have the experience in groups ahead of this, post training field support is available as an essential support for all graduates to evolve into strong CircleTalk leaders. Every time a leader facilitates a Circle, there is opportunity for engaged, caring, and evocative, person-to-person connection and it is important to hone the skills to support this level of interaction. CircleTalk mentors meet face-to-face or over Skype to develop leader competencies beyond the one-day training. The CircleTalk Leader Course will build your capacity to:
Understand best practice group dynamics skills so that you can form healthy groups, meaningful engagement and maximize participation.
Create a universally accessible environment for full group engagement (i.e. hearing loss, vision loss and cognitive and memory challenges, etc.).
Effectively lead structured conversations that really engage and create a sense of belonging and connection to others.
Create a positive and open environment so that participants can share personal stories, insights and feelings.Register Here
